	Tawau General Hospital 1924

General Hospital Tawau 1924 - A small public hospital close to the shore with no medical officer.

A medical doctor Ernst Sternfeld was sent from Sandakan to Tawau between 1939-1940 for only a few months.

Opposite Hospital Besar Tawau is the TAWAU YACHT CLUB. 1 Km Jalan Tanjong Batu.

Police Head Quarter of Tawau is just beside the hospital.

The old post office and central pardang is 5 minutes walk from General Hospital.
