Oil Palm
| Oil Palm is the main crop for the District Kunak.
This plant has become increasingly important in today and also the area of crop increased. Many large companies have cut down cocoa plantation and switch to planting of oil palm. According to the Department of Agriculture, an area of approximately 58,620.35 hectares of land in Kunak been planted with oil palm. - 65 percent is owned by large companies (listed companies) and only about - 35 per cent privately owned and smallholders. |
