Palm City Centre of Lahad Datu town
The largest integrated property development in Lahad Datu.
The Palm City Centre is set to transform the quiet Lahad Datu's landscape.
Located on 58.8 acres just seven minutes from the present town centre, the RM300
million commercial development is a joint-venture between the Sabah Housing and
Town Development Authority (SHTDA) as the land owner and developer, Renofajar
Sdn Bhd.
According to Renofajar Sdn Bhd Managing Director, Chris Pang, they have full
confidence in the development due to Lahad Datu's significant potential to
become the East Coast's economic powerhouse, especially once the POIC project is
up and running.
The palm oil downstream development hub will also see the construction of a deep
sea port
Palm City Centre is a one-stop centre to cater to the needs of all discerning
customers.
Facilities at Palm City Centre would be an eight-storey air-conditioned shoplex
(shopping complex), multiple 1-star hotels, 350 retail shops, a two-storey wet
and dry markets among others.
The Palm City Centre development, strategically located in the middle of the
Sandakan and Tawau road, and POIC, Tungku and Felda Sahabat is also adjacent to
the 62-acre proposed Lahad Datu Sports Complex.
