Lung San Nine-Storey Pagoda Pagoda Ling San 2-2-2011 WED 2:00PM |
| Ling San Temple, Tuaran (Temple of
Dragon Mountain) The temple is famous for the nine storey pagoda, built as a tourist attraction and just right on the outskirts of the town. Newly after the pagoda was completed, the building was intensely promoted by the tourist industries but after just a couple of years the pagoda went silence even Sabahan themselves do not know such pagoda exist. While most travelers would drop by Tuaran for the famous Tuaran Mee, hardly any of them would take the trouble to visit the Pagoda. So it is the Tuaran Mee (Tuaran Noodle) that need to be promoted and not the Chinese Pagoda. This 9-Storey Pagoda is the main attraction in Tuaran Town Center. There are colorful statues of the Chinese legendary characters. Go up to the top level, the view of Tuaran from the 9th Storey is fascinating. |
