Hop On-Hop Off double-deck tour buses service 22 stops in Kuala Lumpur.

You can choose to stay on through the full circuit tour (the ticket is valid for 24 hours upon purchase) or hop on and off at the destination of your fancy. It is a convenient way of seeing Kuala Lumpur. The rout covers over 100 major hotels in Kuala Lumpur.

Tickets are at RM38 per person. Group purchases (min of 5) are priced at RM32 per person. Senior citizens, students and the disabled only pay RM17 while children below five years old ride for free. Malaysian MYKad holders only pay RM19 during promotions.

Situated beside the Butterfly Park, within the Lake Garden vicinity, the Orchid Garden houses about 3,000 orchid species from around the world, with 800 species from Malaysia alone. An adjoining section is devoted to the hibiscus, Malaysia's national flower. This section showcases more than 2,000 varieties of hibiscuses.

Located near the Lake Garden is an enclosed ?ha deer farm where deer, fawns and does can be seen roaming in its habitat, surrounded by lush trees and ponds.

  Kuala Lumpur Bird Park 

As one of the largest bird parks in Asia,  Kuala Lumpur Bird Park houses over 5,000 birds from about 160 species found throughout South-East Asia. The main attractions here are the rhinoceros hornbills, the hill mynah 'talking' tiong, African macaws and flamingoes.  

 Butterfly Park

Only a stone's throw from the Bird Park is the colorful and beautifully landscaped Butterfly Park where over 6,000 butterflies from 12,0 species roam and fly freely in a simulated natural rainforest environment.

Petronas Twin Towers
Since opening in 1997, the Petronas Towers has become one of the city’s main symbols. The Petronas Twin Towers  is the tallest twin towers in the world and is one of the most outstanding landmarks in Kuala Lumpur. Within it is the famous Suria KLCC mall and the Philharmonic Orchestra theatre.

Opening hours: For tickets please come before 8:30am at the ticket counter on the concourse level. Tickets are free and are given out on a first come first serve basis. Undoubtedly one of the most visited tourist attraction in KL. Get a view of Kuala Lumpur city from this Sky Bridge that is located on the upper level of the Petronas Twin Towers. The bridge was also featured in the movie Entrapment starring Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta Jones.


The Petronas Art Gallery

Closed on Monday This is a centre located in KLCC dedicated to the fine arts and features masterpieces by local and foreign artists.

LCCT is a separate terminal at Kuala Lumpur International Airport to cater for the growing number of users of low cost airlines, such as AirAsia.

Before the terminal used as a terminal for low cost airlines in 2006, the LCCT was used for cargo purposes.

The 36,000 square meters (390,000 sq ft) terminal is designed and built to suit the low cost carrier business model that requires only basic terminal amenities.
As a low cost terminal, the terminal does not provide :
1) No aerobridges.
2) No transfer facilities like those found at main terminal.

Kuala Lumpur's Old China Town is better known as Petaling Street. The entire crowded, colorful street is sheltered from the hot sun and rain. Totally alive at night, be prepared to sweat a little to explore the crowded street of Chinese signs and shops, activity and noise.

This old China Town is around Petaling street, Jalan Sultan, Jalan Hang Lekir, Jalan Tun HS Lee. It is centred around the Pasar Seni light rail station, bordered by Jalan Sultan Mohamed on the west and Jalan Cheng Lock in the north.

13km north of Kuala Lumpur. The Caves system comprises of several limestone caves that contains a Hindu shrine.

Getting to the shrine is via a 272, steps that leads to the mouth of the main cave. Once a year, millions of Hindu devotees and other visitors throng the caves to celebrate the Thaipusam festival.

The Lord Murugan statuewas once the World Tallest Hindu Statue since 2006 until 2010 when Shiva Statue in Nepal was inaugurated.


Sri Maha Mariamman Temple

This 130 years old temple in Kuala Lumpur  was intriguing designs and decorative features by some of the best Indian artists and craftsmen. Intricate carvings of Hindu deities, and hand-painted motifs depicting stories of ancient Hindu divination.

The original Sri Maha mariamman Temple  was constructed in the late 19th century and gone through renovations with addition structures. By now this oldest Hindu Temple in Malaysia has a tower gate adorned with intricate carvings of Hindu Gods and deities while the interior houses the statue of goddess Maha Mariamman embellished with precious stones and gold.


Berjaya Times Square

Kuala Lumpur's upmarket shopping mall complete with its very own indoor theme park and movie theatres. This largest shopping mall in Malaysia has 3,450,000 square feet providing more than 700 shops. The huge building housing the biggest Borders Bookstore, Department Store, Cold Storage Supermarket, and Asia’s largest indoor theme park and Malaysia’s first-ever IMAX 2D & 3D theatre.

 Sunway Lagoon Theme Park

Sunway Lagoon is a recreation of a sunken mining wasteland. Spanning some 80 acres, the theme park's emphasis is largely water-based with wild adventure rides and amusement games.
The entrance of the pyramid-shaped shopping complex is guarded by a massive 50-foot lion bust and the unique Egyptian theme is carried throughout the interior of the shopping complex. It's very popular for tourists coming from Arabia and China.

 Genting Highland

45 minutes away from Kuala Lumpur City is Genting Highlands, a city in itself billed as the City of Entertainment with family-oriented theme parks, international shows and live performances, a golf course, an equestrian course, and Malaysia only licensed casino. The highlands resort offers low-cost comfortable bus services at frequent intervals from KL city. The buses travel up to a cable-car station midway and visitors continue their journey on what Genting claims to be the fastest cable-car in the region.

The Spinner (photo above) has become a part of the history of Genting. Genting Outdoor Theme Park was closed on Sept 1, 2013 for the construction of the new theme park Twentieth Century Fox Theme Park opening to the public in 2016
