Opposite Citin Hotel is the Taxi Station. We tool a taxi for Rm55.00 for going up to Genting.

Our taxi veered along the snake-like road amidst the lush forest growth. Xing told Yin that we were in the sky, in the cloud. The taxi took us less then 1 hour from the our hotel to the highland. As we move higher up the mountain road it got cold and misty. The road leading to Genting is scenic with lush rainforest on either side.

By noon we reached Genting Highlands Resort's First World Hotel Lobby and could feel chilly cold wind blew intermittently. The Resort itself was simply marvelous - rather flawless - be it the rooms, the restaurants or the lobby.

First World Hotel has 6,200rooms with 32 check-in counters. It is also the largest hotel in the world.

A lush, grand tropical rainforest greets guests at the main entrance of the First World Hotel, followed by a spacious Spanish courtyard lobby and tropical garden behind the reception counter.

And the staff is professional, courteous and willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The lobby area was packed with people from all over the regions and also many tour groups. Hotel guests sitting in row of benches waiting for their queue number to check in.

There are many rides packed into the First World Plaza (adjoining to the First World Hotel) . This should be the place to go if it rains. Fir the children the  rides indoor  is as thrill and exciting as the outdoor rides.

First World Plaza - a  world of  fun and new things for children. Here children discover  new excitements at 6,000 feet. All enjoyed the cool, refreshing air and geared up for a full day of fun and adventure.

Fun and adventure seem unlimited at this 6,000 feet. But have to avoid the noise from all sort of game machine. The air is fresh, but the environment is polluted with noise pollution.

4:51 pm Yin started her very first ride in Genting Highland.  She selected the reindeer rides.

While she took a reindeer ride, just beside her was Status of Liberty of America taking a motorcycle ride happily holding up her touch of victory.
 

Show : Fly Defy Showcase (every Saturday and Sunday at 5:30PM)

There is a big open stage at the indoor theme park with good performances such as songs, dances, acrobats etc. While we were have some foods we heard children singing. We knew the public performance has begun. As soon as we finished our noodles we went straight to the stage and this is what we saw ........... the 'Soldiers from Rome' were performing their army dance.....

Heavy crowd surrounded in front the stage. We are all too short in height to see the stage far behind the crowd so we went in front (actually is beside the stage)...... and this is what a spectacle close view we got on the "Roman soldiers".......

No only their dance was interesting to us, the dancer themselves are interesting enough to my 2 children.  They are tall, white, big blue eyes and not smiling......the type of human species my two children never have a chance to see in our home town Tawau.

Below : Genting Cultural Performance. Every day around 6:00PM

Venice Gondola - A slow moving gondola, traveling near the roof of the indoor theme park. It gives an amazing view of the entire theme park from above.

Euro Express - A fast moving open-top-mini-train ride that zips through the main attractions of the indoor theme park at the height of one-storey.

- 4D Motion Master - A small 4D theater. One needs to wait in line for entry, because the theatre is pretty small. We were given special glasses to wear at the entrance. They showed us a short nature movie, in which we could see, hear, feel and smell.

First World Plaza  is a very colorful and lively place which you will not miss when you are at Genting Highlands.

There is a big indoor theme park at the First World Plaza which includes many games and rides, plus shopping, food etc. World-class entertainment takes centre stage at First World’s Pavilion Hall, where music & magic extravaganzas, circus acts, sporting events, dance competitions and Broadway shows play to packed houses. The list of stellar performers that have graced this venue reads like a Who’s Who of the biggest names in the entertainment industry today.

One thousand years into the future, 2 tribes - the Waterlings and the Skyfires, fight to survive.

The evil Skyfires who are bigger and stronger also had the advantage of flight. With every full moon, hundreds of Skyfires take flight to attack the virtually defenseless Waterlings. Cowering in fear, the Waterlings hide to survive.

Desperate, they called upon YV to save them. But YV knew there was only one way for the Waterlings to defeat the Skyfires. They had to learn to FLY.

It an acrobat,  magic and dancing show. Their costume, backdrop are glamorous.

Chun Xing find it was more interesting in last year's show.
