Hotel Emas
a 3-star hotel is one of the oldest hotel in Tawau with
120 rooms.
Among all
the hotels in Tawau, Hotel Emas is the furthest away
from town center. Yet it takes only 10 minutes to
walk to the Golden Triangle of Tawau - the Fajar Area.
The hotel
also provide mini bus shuttle service to airport for
hotel guest at RM15 per trip.
Malay food stalls situated in front of the hotel. Beside
the hotel is a Malay restaurant with
local foods such as Nasi Goreng, Mee
Goreng, Soto, Satay and roasted Chicken wings.

is located some 30mins drive from the airport. The
sprawling estate has miles and miles of cocoa trees
as far as the eye can see. From blooms to green
fruits to ripe brown pods, it was a myriad of colors
and the air was filled with the scent of cocoa.
In our cocoa house, you will enjoy a beautiful view
of Tawau and cocoa refreshment will be served and
lunch can be arranged. With various unique cocoa
snacks, dessert and appetizer, you may taste up many
different foods like cocoa porridge, cocoa noodle,
cocoa prawn roll, cocoa banana roll, fresh cocoa
juice etc...
A few bumpy kilometers from the main entrance is a
hiking trail which leads to a magnificent waterfall.
It was truly a magnificent sight to see the 30 feet
waterfall surrounded by large shady trees and the
morning sun streaming through the branches. The
waterfall is opened to public and that is an ideal
place for picnics and get-togethers.

Teck Guan Cocoa Museum
Teck Guan Cocoa Museum located in Tanjung Batu is just 10 minutes away
from Tawau Town Centre. The exclusively decorated and comfortable museum
officially open its door for visitors in 2004. A visit to the Teck Guan
Cocoa Museum is a must for visitors visiting Tawau. The moment you set foot
