Tidung Dancers in Tawau Cultural Festival 24-25 March 2007
Tidung people original came from Tarakan Island, Indonesia. They are
fishermen living mostly along the sea coast.
Tarakan Island has a population of more then 100,000. The island is near to
Tawau making it a busy and rapidly developing transit town. Many foreign goods
are sold here.
