seminar on Suluk culture, art and heritage at Tawau District Library on 14th
January 2011
A Suluk community cultural village in Sabah could enable the younger generation
to understand Suluk history and act as a commercial product outlet for tourists
coming from abroad to Sabah. During the seminar, Sabah Assistant Finance
Minister Datuk Tawfiq Abu Bakar Titingan said the Suluk community has its own
history, culture and heritage. The young Suluk generation should remember,
maintain and practise these culture heritage in their daily lives.
The seminar was organised by the Culture, Art and Heritage Bureau of Tawau
Umno P190 and held on 14th January 2011
