Victor Lim the helpful person to Susana Wong
KK OCPD, Supt Victor Lim was head of KK city police Dec 1982 to Nov 1985. Follow by Ho Chee Nyen (July 1986 to March 1989).
Victor Lim was a faithful officer in carry out the decision of the Federal Government in KL. And he has another year to go before officially retire as a Government officer and enjoy a pension for the rest of his life. But something happen changed his destine life. It was in this last year of his service, political power in changed hand. The new authority feel Victor Lim can batter off serving back home in West Malaysia and posted him back to KL to head a military section.. Apparently Lim did not like the new post..... he resigned from Government just one more year to a glorious retirement and forfeited his handsome pension he was supposed to entitled to.

Susana Wong was born in West Malaysia and came to Sabah in the 60s-70s too seek for work.
The family member of Susana knew about Victor Lim in Sabah. Lim was willing to help and found her a clerical post in Hap Seng Company.

When Victor Lim introducing her to Hap Seng, it was Lau C.K. the managing director who accepted her. Susana Wong's polite and meek attitude very soon attracted his attention.

After a few months in the company's store section, she was transferred to the main office as telephone receptionists.

At that time in Sabah, Hap Send did not have a suitable personality in the telephone reception area. These clerks either do not speak quality English or rude in telephone manner. Susana Wong found herself to be the favourite staff of Hap Seng because her English is good also has good manner and attitude. Long time customers who used to call Hap Seng over the phone immediately feel the great changes over this company new telephone receptionist.
Eventually, Susana Wong became an adapted daughter of Lau Gek Po.
