University of Malaya has taken the lead in
enabling the growth k-economy by establishing the University of Malaya Centre
for Continuing Education or better known as UMCCed. The centre is in fact a
convergence of academia and industry, drawing the expertise of qualified
lecturers from UM and the practitioners in the industry to provide well-mixed
instructions required by k-economy workforce. UMCCed being integral to the
system of learning in UM, will always uphold the mission of the University in
seeking excellence in the advancement and dissemination of knowledge to meet the
aspiration of the nation
