Fajar International College started in 2006 as the FIRST Accredited Training Center for NEBOSH courses in East Malaysia.
MIRI: Fajar International College (FIC) is upgrading its library facilities and has expanded its internet connection to include access to worldwide library websites in an effort to improve its quality education.

Fajar International College is recognized as the first and only institution in East Malaysia offering Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) approved by Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH).

This safety programme is also approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and is accredited by MQA.

Graduates can register themselves as “Safety & Health Officer” (SHO) with DOSH upon completion of the programme.

The programme, which is also being offered on a part-time basis in the evenings specifically for working adults, has two value-added features.
Firstly, it is accredited by IOSH, UK.
Secondly, FIC’s students have direct entry into the final year degree programme in Occupational Safety & Health with reputable institutes such as the University of Greenwich, UK and Middlesex University, UK, which can be completed locally or in the UK.

Another unique programme of FIC is the Diploma in Accounting, which is a fast-track and highly reputed programme found only in this region.

It can be considered as one diploma with multi qualifications. The new Diploma in Accounting is uniquely designed where two other accounting and professional bodies, namely ACCA and the Association of International Accountants (AIA), UK recognize it by granting exemptions on some papers.

Students may therefore sit for the two examinations separately at different stages of their diploma studies.
Other diploma programmes which are open to SPM leavers include the :
1- Diploma in Business Studies
2- Diploma in Human Resources Management.
All these programmes are fully accredited by MQA.
