Fund Type

 Local Courses - 30% of margin of financing to be placed in Fixed Deposit (under lien to Bumiputra-Commerce)Foreign Courses - 40% of margin of financing to be placed in Fixed Deposit (under lien to the Bank) OR 50% of margin of financing against First and Second shares not on their negative list

Loan repayment tenure is a maximum of 10 years out of which:-

  1. for Local courses you will service your monthly interest for the first 5 years and monthly installments until full settlement of loan for the remaining 5 years. 
    2.  
  2. for Foreign Courses, the installsment will commence after one month full drawdown. 

for Twinning courses, either of the option above.

Eligibility

Student plus parents or guardian with adequate capacity. Where students are below 18 years of age, they are to execute an Agreement as a co-borrower upon reaching 18 years of age

Maximum age limit is 60 years
