PM to launch Tawau Cultural Festival, open UTC

Tawau: The people here are urged not to miss the opportunity to attend two important events this Sunday and Monday to be inaugurated by the Prime Minister.
Tawau Municipal Council (MPT) President Alijus Sipil said Datuk Seri Najib Razak will officially launch the 2018 Tawau International Cultural Festival (FKAT) on Sunday (April 8) and open the Pasar Tanjung Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) on Monday (April 9).

This festival demonstrate the uniqueness of the 29 ethnicities in Tawau district.

Around 30,000 people to be present at the FKAT celebration featuring distinctive concept in terms of presentation.
 

"This time the concept of presentation will be divided into three segments, namely ethnic coastal, ethnic/hill ethnic and foreign delegations," he said.

 

In addition to local ethnics, three foreign countries, namely China, Thailand and Indonesia, will also present their special offerings.
