Travel & Tourism Diploma

The following are reasons why many students preferred to study with us :

Our school is an authorized IATA/UFTAA Training School and students enrolled will have the option to sit for the external exam sanctioned by IATA/UFTAA (IATA - International Air Transport Association. UFTAA - Universal Federation of Travel Agents' Association). All airlines and travel agencies internationally recognize this diploma.

On hand training is provided for each students on Airline Computerized Passenger Seat Reservation Systems. After graduation, students will be able to handle inquiries, reserve seat and other related services to customer by merely operating the travel agency's Computerized Reservations System - KOMMAS/ABACUS (used by 99% of travel agencies in Malaysia).

Overseas training trip by air not taken by students will be forfeited and is non-refundable. The school will subsidize to a maximum of RM500.00 for the trip chosen by the students. The final decision of the destination lies on the school.

After graduation, students are assisted by our school to seek placement with the agencies and airlines.

Our course's medium of instruction is English. The books, study materials and tests are also in English. The lecturers have the option to explain in Mandarin, Cantonese and Bahasa Melayu where necessary. However, if the students are weak in this language, they are given an option to attend our FREE English Lessons. Three other foreign languages - Japanese, French and Korean are also available FREE.

2 Diplomas and 1 Certificate will be awarded to students who qualify :

1st Diploma - SF Tourism Academy Internal Diploma
2nd Diploma - IATA/UFTAA Foundation Course Diploma
3rd Certificate - SF Tourism Academy in conjunction with Abacus Distribution Systems Computerized Reservations studies.
4th, 5th, 6th , 7th Certificate - Foreign languages.

Hostel Accommodation is also available for outstation students. Hostel Fees is RM100.00 per month. Students using our hostel have to provide their own blankets, pillows and bed sheets. They have to pay an advance deposit of 2 months that is fully refundable when they are no longer using the accommodation.

Our school is licensed by the Malaysia Government - Ministry of Culture, Arts and Tourism (Reg No : KKKP/PL/ILP0006)

For outstation students, approximately RM500 is sufficient to cover their normal expenses per-month such as accommodation, meals and transportation. To ease their financial problems, they can also opt to study and work part-time (not in a travel agency) as there are many part-time jobs in Kuala Lumpur.

Course Duration 1 Year

o All fees must be paid latest by 7th of each calendar month failing which the penalty on late payment interest RM 100 (per day) applies.

o External Diploma - IATA/UFTAA Registration fees & Handling fees Rm1,200 + Rm 168(Incidentak Fees)
