The original Melangkap Homestay that started operation in 2004. This building is
no more in operation after 2015 earthquakes and in 2017 replace by Melangkap DRL
Holiday Home a few km further up the road.

This is the first homestay operate in Melangkap area that started operating in 2004 under government's project. And manage by Pengurus: Julita Andrew
In the early 2010s there started a second homestay named Melangkap DRL Holiday Home. When the original Melangkap Homestay stopped operating after 2015 earthquakes , Melangkap DRL Holiday Home was renamed to replace Melangkap Homestay.
The one Melangkap Homestay that you still find in Agoda.com is the old non existing building but Agoda auto redirect you to the new Melangkap Homestay (formerly Melangkap DRL Holiday Home) which is another 3 Km further up the road.

signboard during that time was Melangkap Home stay.
Shortly after the above image taken in June, an level 6 earthquakes on Mount Kinabalu that changed the landscapes of Sungai Panataran River in these area.
Following a boom of home stay mushrooming along the river.
In 2015, the road paved only up to Kadamain Bridge. After the bridge it was
gravel road. Polumpung Menglangkap Campsite, which was not exist in 2015, is
beside this gravel road.
