MASJID AL KAUTHAR KG. TANJUNG ARU is a unique Mosque in Sabah and in the world. This mosque has a rectangle dome instead of the traditional round dome.

In the mosque architecture, domes are placed directly above the main prayer hall to signify the vaults of heaven and the sky.
