Activities and Facilities at the Park.

The serene and tranquil nature surrounding of the Park provide an ideal venue to have fun filled outdoor activities and events.

The Park is a popular spot for recreation and also picnic for family and individual alike. The terraced mountain stream with natural wading pools provide a venue for children and adults alike to enjoy the cold mountain stream under the shade of the surrounding trees.

There are ample BBQ Pits around. It is an ideal location for family picnic, private functions and corporate events.

The Park is also popular site for jungle trekking among nature lovers amidst the lush tropical rainforest.

Getting to Matang Family Park.

The park is located 22km west of Kuching City and accessible via Kuching-Matang Road and continue to Lundu-Sempadi Road.

Just 1 KM after the red bridge.

There is no public bus services to Matang Family Park. Visitor to the city can take the Yellow roofed shuttle van, could be found behind Electra House Shopping Complex, regularly ply the area.

Or those with can drive can rent a car from a car rental company in Kuching.

Along Matang road, there are Red Bridge swimming place, Matang Family Park, Kubah National Park and Matang Wildlife Center

Admission to the Park.

The Park is open daily from 8am-5pm including public holiday. Entrance fee for walk-in visitors are as follows:-

Adult - 19yrs and above – RM3.00/person.
Teenager – 13-18yrs –RM2.00/person
Children – 7-12yrs –RM1.00/person.
