(The final part from Chiang Mai to Pai is by van bus)
1- From Changi Airport Terminal 2 take MRT to Woodland MRT Station. Then walk
over to Woodland Bus Interchange.
2- From Woodland Bus Interchange take a bus to boarder train station at
Singapore's Woodland Train Checkpoint where the immigration of Singapore and
Malaysia are side by side
3- At Singapore Woodland Train Checkpoint you chop out your passport that walk
to opposite Malaysian counter to chop in to Malaysia's Woodland CIQ.
4- From Malaysia's Woodland CIQ train platform board 5 minutes train to JB
Sentral at Johor Bahru in Malaysia.
5- From JB Sentral take a ETS train to KL Sentral for transit
6- From KL Sentral take another ETS train to Padang Besar station where Malaysia
and Thai immigrations are
7- At Malaysia's Padang Besar Immigration counter you chop out of Malaysia and
walk to the opposite Thai immigration counter to chop into Thailand.
8- From Thailand side of Padang Besar train platform take a train to Bangkok's
Hua Lampong train station.
9- From Bangkok's Hua lampopng station take the last train to Chiang Mai
10 From Chiang Mai Rail station take a Grab to Bus Terminal No: 3
11 From Chiang Mai Bus terminal 3 take a mini bus (Van) to Pai

Direct bus between Changi Airport MRT Station and Woodlands
MRT Station:
SMRT line 858 bus
There is a direct bus departing from Changi Airport PTB2 and arriving at
Woodlands Reg Int.
Services depart every five minutes, and operate every day. The journey takes
approximately 1h 11m.
This is the cheapest way to get from Changi Airport MRT Station to Woodlands MRT Station.
Take SMRT line 858 bus which costs RM 2 - RM 10 and takes 1h 14m.
Use stored value smartcard (EZ-Link or NETS Flashpay)
