Located some 4 km north of the Causeway, is the primary transport hub for Johor
Bahru. Buses to all destinations in Peninsula Malaysia leave from here.

Centralized Ticketing System
The Centralized Ticketing System at the Larkin Serntral bus terminal in Johor
Baru has made buying tickets easier for commuters. Passengers are happy with the
centralized ticketing system (CTS) at the Larkin Sentral bus terminal which was
introduced in December 2017.
The convenient system allowed passenger taking the express bus to go to any of
the counters to buy tickets of any bus company they choose.
Before the system, passengers had to buy ticket directly from the respective bus
company. CTS also helped to eliminate touts from selling bus tickets. CTS
display details information on computer screen. Differed bus companies has
different prised in tickets. The screen will display a list of schedule bus
information to allows passengers to compare prices.
The CTS started operating at the Larkin terminal on Dec 15 2017 as part of the
ongoing terminal upgrade.
The system is more convenient for them as they can clearly see from the monitors
if tickets were still available.
Larkin Bus Terminal is the main bus terminal for long distance bus departing
from Johor Bahru.
The Larkin Transport Bus and Taxi Terminal Complex is the largest public
transportation terminal in Johor Bahru city. It is located in the town of Larkin
4 kilometers away from the Johor City center.
Facilities such as a bank, food stalls etc. are located in the terminal
building.
From here, passenger took buses to other parts of Malaysia and to Singapore.
This is common bus pickup point from Johor Bahru to other parts of Malaysia and
to Singapore.

The terminal was more comfortable now after the upgrading work.
Before renovation, passengers had to wait beside the open parking area for
buses, now passengers wait in air-conditioned boarding lounge
