An old rain tree beside the main road of Hotel Emas. A few more giant "frame of the forest" trees at the empty land behind the hotel.

Hotel Emas is one of the earliest hotels located at the old historical area where the trees planted during the British era can be seen today as giant old trees.

Hotel Emas 3-star hotel is one of the oldest hotel in Tawau with 120 rooms.
The hotel is located near Tawau town center and within walking distance to major banks and business centers. It takes around 30mins to drive from Emas hotel to Tawau International airport.
The hotel has shuttle services to the airport and town centre. The counter also provide foreign currency exchange, laundry and dry cleaning, ample parking space, safe deposit boxes, as well as tour and travel arrangements. On the 6th floor of the hotel is the health center equipped with sauna, steam and massage for our guests.
Among all the hotels in Tawau, Hotel Emas is the furthest away from town center. Yet it takes only 10 minutes to walk to the Golden Triangle of Tawau - the Fajar Area.
The hotel also provide mini bus shuttle service to airport for hotel guest at RM15 per trip.

Malay food stalls situated in front of the hotel. Beside the hotel is a Malay restaurant with local foods such as Nasi Goreng, Mee Goreng, Soto, Satay and roasted Chicken wings.
KFC is just a block in front at the ground floor of the Cinema STAR Cineplex.
