Their first pair of legs are longer
than their second pair by a ratio of more than 1.6. Members of the family Tetragnathidae build delicate orb-webs with open hubs. The webs are suspended horizontally or in an inclined plane. (Long legs spider ) Body length about 5mm. Widespread distribution of this species in low-elevation mountain areas, common in the woods or swamps, stream and other dark environment. |
