The University of Sunderland of UK is offering 2 Batchelor
Courses through SEGi College Sarawak.
1) Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Business and Management and
2 Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Accounting and Finance courses
This 3 + 0 honours degree of these two programmes can be
completed entirely in Kuching
Students who had completed their Diploma in Business Administration
(DBA) and Diploma in Accountancy will be granted exemptions into the
honours degree.
Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Accounting and Finance allow graduates
a maximum exemption of nine Association of Chartered Certified
Accountants (ACCA) papers when they graduate.
That leaves only five professional ACCA examinations to gain their
ACCA membership, should they pursue this career option.
The programme will also give up to a maximum exemption of all
certificate-level papers and a range of managerial-level papers of
the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
Both honours degrees were awarded by the University of Sunderland,
UK, so students pursuing their degree in Kuching would receive the
same certification as those studying on-campus in UK.
