Tradition of Academic Excellence Reputed not only to be the first private nursing college to initiate a Diploma in Nursing Programme, PNC is also the first to have its Diploma in Nursing Programme accredited by the Lembaga Akreditasi Negara (LAN). Set apart with a unique competitive edge, PNC launched its training with a first intake of 30 students in September 1991, Since then PNC has maintained its tradition of academic excellence with 100% success rate in the Nursing Board Terminal Examination. PNC now offers ten programmes which include Diploma in Nursing, Diploma in Medical Imaging, Diploma in Pharmacy, Diploma in Physiotherapy, Certificate in Health Management and Leadership, Critical Care Nursing, Renal Nursing, Paedriatic Nursing, Operating Department Practice Course and Nurse Education/Teaching. PNC's roles and objectives have become more significant in line with the growth of the industry, responding promptly to the human capital requirement for nurses and allied healthcare professionals to meet the needs of other private and public healthcare institutions in the country To date PNC has produced approximately 2,000 Nursing and 500 Healthcare professionals with Degree, Diploma and post-graduate specialization qualifications. The current student population of PNC stands at 1,300. This tradition of academic excellence is further enhanced and galvanized by a team of dedicated, well qualified and widely experienced lecturers who inspire students to unleash their potential and develop holistically. PNC has built strong international alliance with foreign universities primarily from Australia and United Kingdom, This successful cooperation and alliance has provided PNC with an enriched combination of resources - advanced, unique and professional support of quality and diversity. As early as 1994 PNC forged a sound working relationship with University of South Australia (UniSA) to undertake several nurse education programs. PNC and UniSA have collaboratively trained 1 77 Critical Care Nurses; 65 graduates in Teaching and Education for Senior Nursing Officers, Nurse Lecturers and Nurse Instructors, and 235 Heads of Services and Executives in Healthcare Management and Leadership, The college has also collaborated with Edith Cowan University and Curtin University, Western Australia for post-basic nursing education. Through PNC's continuing ties with Liverpool John Moores University, United Kingdom for the Operating Theatre Practice Programme since 1997, 132 Trained Theater Practitioners have been produced. |

Puteri Nursing College (PNC) is a subsidiary of Kumpulan Perubatan Johor (KPJ) the Healthcare Division of Johor Corporation. It is a private nursing college owned and managed by KPJ. The approval to set-up the nursing college from the Ministry of Health was obtained on 1st April 1991. The establishment of PNC marked a turning point in the development of Nursing Education in Malaysia as PNC is the first Nursing Training Institution to be named a “College” and the first to start the Diploma in Nursing Programme recognized by the Ministry of Health. The first official premise of PNC was the three-storey building along Jalan Pahang, next to Pusat Pakar Tawakal, Kuala Lumpur. PNC was officially launched by the Ministry of Health, YB Dato’ Lee Kim Sai on 9th January 1992. Reputed to be the first private nursing college to start Diploma in Nursing Programme, PNC launched its training education with the first batch of 30 students in September 1991. Headed by the 3 pioneer Nurse Lecturers, the group has successfully completed the 3-year programme with 100% passes on 24th September 1994. PNC is also the premier college to be affiliated with internationally renowned universities for several post basic programmes. Several Memorandums of Understanding have been signed between PNC and foreign counterparts to conduct advanced nursing programmes at PNC. PNC’s endeavours for producing qualified, caring, efficient and respectable graduates are strongly supported by an academic core group of dedicated, dynamic and experienced lecturers. Armed with the motto, “Towards Excellence in Nursing Education and Healthcare Services”, PNC believes in maintaining high standards of nursing education and ensuring credible and reliable nursing training to all its students. PNC is a subsidiary of Kumpulan
Perubatan Johor the Health care Division of Johor Corporation. It is a private
nursing college owned and managed by KPJ. Kumpulan Perubatan Johor is one of the
largest health care groups in Malaysia offering diverse and integrated range of
healthcare services. Since then, PNC International College of Nursing And Health Sciences has maintained a significant track record of 100% passes for every intake of its students. By the end of December 2005, PNC had successfully enrolled 1,801 nursing students which include 1,125 in Diploma in Nursing holders.
