This matured female has white pruinescenc (powder) developed all over the body.
Segment 8, 9 and 10 stained with some dried mud particles indicating she has
been dropping eggs on water.
An egg remain stuck infront the opening of segment 8 of this female Orthetrum
glaucum. In the photo the egg seem round in shape but the egg is actually oval
shape.
Unlike damselflies, most dragonflies do not have a fully formed ovipositor(i.e.
without complicated structure containing paired valves and cutting blades) Thus
a female Orthetrum glaucum simply drop her eggs into water.

This is an juvenile male. Immature males look similar to females, but can be
distinguished from segment 8,9 and 10 of the abdomen,

This is a fully matured female. The compound eyes of the female are brown or
blue-green, the thorex is golden yellow, the side view has dark brown or brown
thick line stripes. Wings are transparent. Mature females have blue-green
compound eyes and gray-blue abdomen.
