from ZhaoQing肇慶 to HeZhou賀州
　
Today we travel by tour bus from ZhaoQing肇慶 to HeZhou賀州 on the way visit 賀州紫雲洞（紫雲仙境）Ferry Land in Purple Cloud
This is our first morning in China

7:00AM I woke up early for a short morning walk behind the Hotel
Everything amazes me in China
is in the morning mist
the hills of ZhaoQing肇慶 rising into the mist.
Zhaoqing is an ancient city dated back 200 BC
Today being a regional tourist hub
Last night the tour bus brought us here for overnight

9:00AM The tour bus continue the journey toward Guilin
　
Through the bus window panel, I can see a high-speed-rail line is under construction
By 2014 China has the world's longest High Speed Rail network with over 16,000 km
This red banner inscribed the commitment of local government toward the forthcoming Asian Games
Our tour bus stopped at this服務區 Service Area (rest area) for refill.
It will be a whole day on the road to HeZhou賀州 for stop over. On the way we will drop by to explore a cave.

Morning in Gaoyao City of Zhaoqing District

7:00AM I woke up early and took half an hour walk behind Gaoyao Regent Hotel.
Behind the hotel is an empty ground where some senior and adult are doing morning exercises.
Walking down to the street, school children are on their way to school. Some younger children are accompanied by parents.
Construction of high raised buildings is seen at every direction. Some are commercial buildings while most are residential flats. The old traditional low houses are being torn down.

Guangzhou-Wuzhou Expressway
2010年6月30日上午11時，廣梧高速公路全線通車典禮在雲浮段葵洞服務區內舉行.

On our way to HeZhou, where we spend the night, We are traveling along the Guangzhou-Wuzhou Expressway. This expressway was declared open only 5 months ago on 30th June 2010.

A new public facility "服務區Service Area"

Service Area (rest area, travel plaza, rest stop) is a public facility, located next to highway at which drivers and passengers can rest, eat, or refuel their cars.

In other countries such facility may call rest and service area (RSA), service station, resto, service plaza, and service center, service centre, and motorway services.

Facilities may include park-like areas, fuel stations, restrooms, and restaurants.

A rest area or rest stop with limited or no public facility is a parking area or scenic area. Along some highways and roads are rest stops known as a wayside parks, roadside parks, or picnic areas. Rest areas are common in the United States, Canada, Australia and parts of Europe and Asia.

A service area has a restaurant/eating place and a convenience store, in addition to the parking area and the toilets in the parking area.

12:55PM - By noon we reached He Zhou City and had lunch at this hotel for half hour.

　

賀州紫雲洞（紫雲仙境）

After lunch we proceed to Purple Cave 4Km from the city. It only couple of minutes drive from the restaurent.

3:00PM Leaving Ziyun Cave. We follow the Cave Tour Guide into the cave at 2:15PM
We spend 45 minutes inside the cave.

紫雲洞是一處仙山瓊閣。洞中:

4)仙姑雲盆、
5)大榕樹、
6)情人橋 -男女們談情說愛絕佳場所。

　紫雲洞還是一處人間仙境。洞中的核心景區集賀州各個景點之大全:

2)石林的奇特、
3)路花溫泉的閒適、
4)浮山的古雅都兼而有之。

Gaoyao Regent Hotel **** where we spend the previous night.

Besides the river & lake is this Regent Hotel, a 4-star hotel located near the West River. Over looking famous Seven-star Rock in Zhaoqing, China. 2kms to the Railway Station. 1.5kms to the city center.

The hotel has 140 deluxe rooms and suites. All rooms are equipped with self-controlled air-conditioning, IDD, international TV and in-house movie, mini-bar.

賀州

賀州多小吃，特別是晚上，街上到處都有，小吃長龍。白天廣場上有很多人.
賀州市人口210萬，客家人有80萬 38%。早在清末，賀州就盛行客家雞歌、鯉魚歌、竹板歌、客家道情等歌唱藝術。賀州客家山歌劇團是廣西唯一以演唱客家山歌為主的專業劇團，客家歌曲《月光光》被香港電視劇《酒是故鄉醇》採用為主題曲，在全世界的客屬地區廣為流傳。

3:39PM Our tour bus entered city center of Hezhou.
4:00PM We checked in Hezhou International Hotel. Get together for dinner is at 6:00PM so we have 2 hours free activity.
　

We rested 1 hour in the hotel room and spend the rest of the free hour walk around the small lanes around the hotel. Street life is curious and interesting to us but we did not snap much photos because it is evening without much sunlight for a clear photographs.

Hezhou Square

We reach Hezhou late and leave early the next day. What we saw is a night Hezhou bright colorful and full of life.

Hezhou building sides lit up with video screens, colorful electronic lights run up and down in abstract designs, elevated freeway undersides are lit with dazzling blue lights creating an attractive horizontal balance to all the vertical structures.

7:51PM After dinner the tour guide brought the us to Hezhou Square. She gave us only 15 minutes to look at this park. 15 minutes is too short for there are many interesting to see. Hezhou Square is an idea place to watch the night scene of Hezhou.
