Adjacent to the new wing shopping mall is an eight-storey car park cum entertainment centre that house a roller skate rink, K-Box, an amusement arcade and eight cinema halls. These facilities are expected to be completed 2013.

When fully operational in 2014, the Boulevard Shopping Mall would be Sarawak’s largest one-stop lifestyle mall.

Boulevard Shopping Mall (BSM), Kuching is a new shopping kingdom with 1.7 million square foot of retail extravaganza.

Kuching has not being a shopping haven in Sarawak until 2008 when 2 big shopping malls opened.

For electronic gadgets, go to Saberkas. Saberkas is the IT centre in Kuching with a lot of good deals for electronic gadgets in there. This mall is the kuching version of Low Yat Plaza of Kuala Lumpur.

Since 2007 six new malls are coming up. 3 of those being big ones. Another few others under planning.

The first to open amongst these new malls is Boulevard Lifestyle Shopping Mall as the biggest lifestyle mall in Sarawak.

Boulevard is own by Sarawak own business men. The first Boulevard Mall is in Miri which is smaller than the Kuching sister mall.

The second to open is the Spring Mall - Kuching largest 2-storey mall. With over 100 retail outlets, a gourmet supermarket, an excellent food court. Here you find Kenny Rogers Roasters and Sushi King, Starbucks Coffee, Secret Recipe, Manhattan Fish Market etc

At Popular Bookstore one can find a lot of Chinese books not available in other Kuching book shops.
Thee is another Popular Bookstore at Tun Jugah in Kuching City Center.
