First World Hotel - Malaysia's biggest hotel, was  opened on December 15th, 2000. Instantly this hotel became the most happening place in Genting!

Situated 51km from Kuala Lumpur City, First World Hotel is the sixth addition to five other hotels in Genting
The building of First World Hotel is tastefully decorated. The hotel lobby decorated with rainforest theme .
Those who complain the rooms small are those who pay for the Standard Rooms. Many came as a family with several children trying to pack into a standard room intended for only a couple. But most come here for entertainment activities not for sleeping. Get a Delux Room if you need a larger space at a little extra price. Even bigger is the “world club room” for those with children.

This hotel, nestled 2000 meters above the sea level, covered by lush green forests, claims to be a City of Entertainment for delightful discovery of the whole family.

First World Hotel consists of two blocks with total 6,300 rooms accommodating 12,000 visitors. Block 1 consists of 3,300 rooms while Block 2 consists of 3,000 rooms. The rooms are furnished with modern amenities. With 6300 rooms, First World Hotel claims to be the biggest hotel in the world, superseding MGM Hotel in Las Vegas with 5000 rooms.

One may feel hard to decide what to eat. One can choose from the coffee house, various international cuisine restaurants or food court that serve delightful Asian and local treats. Tropical Cafe, the coffee house is one of the largest in Malaysia covering an area of 44,600 sq feet with a seating capacity of 1338.

This hotel also house the Genting International Convention Center that has a total area of 106,000 square feet. The Grand Ballroom can accommodate 3,200 people in theater style seating. It will be the largest column free hall in Malaysia. This hall can be further divided into four smaller function rooms that will be ideal for exhibitions, meetings, seminar rooms or any other company function. Holding a convention at First World Hotel is a refreshing change of experience for all. With the latest state-of-the-art facilities provided and assisted by team of professionals in a resort environment, business will seem more like leisure. With this additional hotel, Genting can boasts of having the largest convention area in Malaysia.

This hotel include a 280,000 sq feet Indoor Theme Park completed in 2001, making it the biggest indoor theme park in South Asia. First World Hotel also linked to the Outdoor Theme Park via a monorail. One of the uniqueness of this Indoor Theme Park in that it has a variety of themes and icons from all around the world. For example, the Statue of Liberty and the canals in Venice. And there are also a two-screen Cineplex, 30 lane-bowling center and 45,000 sq feet of retail area.
First World Hotel has been an ideal place in Malaysia for the whole family to enjoy fun and excitement under one roof .
Accessibility to the hotel is made easier with escalators and covered walkways from the rest of the other Genting hotels.
