This 4th highest hotel in Tawau with beautiful scenery view of the town if you get a window-room.
The Hotel is strategically located in the town center and within strolling distance to major banks and business centers.
Near by are Supermarkets, convenience stores, pharmacies, bakeries, entertainment centers, government and corporate offices, banks, and food outlets are within walking distance.

All the hotels in Tawau, with the exception of Promenade Hotel, are within the Tawau Town Center. Tawau Town is such a small town that one can walk from the Eastern End to the Western End within just 20 minutes. So no matter how remote a hotel is, it is still within the town center.

Promenade Hotel, the furthest from the center, yet is still within 15 minutes walking distance in less then 1 Kilometer.

Tawau has two town centers - the old and the new.
For King Park Hotel, located at one end of Jalan Bunga Raya, is at the center of the New Town Center. Jalan Bunga Raya,(the Hotel Street), is where most of the new budget hotels and B&B concentrated. This new town area is the Commercial Area where most of the tourists congregated.

While the old town area is the Market Area where the villagers and plantation workers congregated.
King Park Hotel is 2 minutes walk to Monaco Hotel and Heritage Hotel and 6 minutes to Maco Polo Hotel. All the main banks are just near by. Behind King Park Hotel is the Perdana Recreation Center. King Park Hotel is popular for Sarawak businessmen.
Within 3 minutes walking distance are Japanese Restaurant Eido Ichi, Sabah Chicken Rice, Jade Ocean Restaurant and Pizza Hut all open till late night.

The price goes up to Rm40 after 4 pm.

WINDOWS TO TAWAU
For travelers visiting Tawau, remember to clearly specify your requirement of a room with window. For small towns in Malaysia, shop-house style partitioned hotel rooms never received a single direct ray from the sun. For the local people this is normal, but to international tourists, its like a prison cell.

Tawau is not yet a tourist destination like Kuala Lumpur, the recent hotel bloom in this unknown town is not cause of visiting tourists but from the oil palm industries.

Tawau is the transit point for the oil palm plantations workers who come to the town in transit between towns or just simply come to town for an overnight during weekend as an escape from the boring plantations. This is a huge industry with a huge population of employee.
These workers (the blue collars : mechanic, supervisors, engineers, managers etc) all they need is a low cost room for the night disregard whether there is a window or not.

That resulted plentiful of low cost rooms available the town.
These Low cost rooms + low cost "I can fly" + low cost sea-foods attracted the recently years steady flow of "Tourists" flying from other part of Malaysia to Tawau. Unfortunately while a low cost room is what they desired , the no-window may be disappointing.

So remember to clearly specify your requirement of a room with window. And, even batter, ask for window view of sea and town..... and spare the no-windows rooms for the blue-collars from plantations.

BREAKFAST
Local guests are happy with the variety of western and local delicacy to start the morning.
For oversea guests who purposely fly to Tawau to experience Tawau famous fresh sea-foods, may not be contended to start a morning with just these, then there are many other delicacy waiting for you to explore outside.

The area around King Park has a lot of eating places. Restaurant Keningau ,is just behind the Hotel. Malay / Indon menu. 10 minutes a walk to have seafood near the waterfront.
