Faculty of Allied Health Professions (FAHP)

The Faculty of Allied Health Professions was established in 2008. Currently, the Faculty has 2 schools under its care.

1) School of Nursing
2) School of Physiotherapy

Initially these two schools were under the School of Allied Health Sciences in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Science. However, due to the increasing demand of the allied health courses and its intense academic activities, AIMST University has restructured some of the existing faculties, following which the Faculty of Allied Health Professions was formed to oversee the specific allied health science courses in AIMST University.

The first intake for the Diploma in Physiotherapy was in April 2007. Due to popular demand the school has increased its intakes to three per year. The School of Nursing began its first intake for the Diploma in Nursing in September 2008. Currently there are 102 enrolled per this program.
