In Cocoa Museum are a group of Chocolate Girls serving you and explaining the cocoa processing steps.

Fragrant scent of cocoa greets visitors entering the door.

Within the museum grounds are cocoa processing plant and cocoa powder manufacturing factory.

The museum room is previously an cocoa processing plant which today has been phased out and now displayed as part of history of cocoa development in Malaysia.

In this museum, the staff explain the many steps towards cocoa powder production and cocoa products.

The Museum was an old factory with old machineries for visitors to have an insight to a cocoa  factory operation.

The museum is 20minutes drive from Tawau town center.

Teck Guan Cocoa Museum at Mile 2, Tanjung Batu Laut, Tawau Town.

The museum opened in 2002. The museum room is the old cocoa processing plant which is now used as museum display.

This is a small museum big enough to explain the many steps towards cocoa powder production.

The series featured cocoa-based food delicacies created by Hotel Emas. Such as :
1) crystal prawns with chocolate mayonnaise source,
2) crispy cocoa chicken,
3) cocoa sotong roll,
4) cocoa fish slice,
5) cocoa fried noodle,
6) cocoa beef
7) cocoa fried rice.
8) cocoa snacks - Hoko marble ball, chocolate prawn roll, chocolate ondei-ondei, and fresh cocoa juice

Teck Guan Cocoa Museum (Majulah Cocoa Factory) is the only destination in Tawau selected by the Hong Kong ATV's series on Variety Cooking in Asia
Cocoa powder is also food coloring and a flavoring for popcorns, chocolates and crackers.
