An impressive brass sculpture designed by an American, cast in Italy and erected
in Kuala Lumpur in 1966.
National Monument (Tugu Negara) memorial commemorates those who fell in
Malaysia's struggles for freedom during the Malayan Emergency of 1946-60.
Old Railway Station
Its domes and minarets’ unique features make it one of the most photograph
railway station in the world.
Kuala Lumpur Railway Station is another Moorish-style structure designed by
architect A.B. Hubback. It was built in 1910, but was extensively renovated in
1986.

This park is a 92h park with a Butterfly Park, Deer Park, Orchid Garden,
Hibiscus Garden and South- East Asia's largest Bird Park:
Orchid Garden
Situated beside the Butterfly Park, within the Lake Garden vicinity, the Orchid
Garden houses about 3,000 orchid species from around the world, with 800 species
from Malaysia alone. An adjoining section is devoted to the hibiscus, Malaysia's
national flower. This section showcases more than 2,000 varieties of hibiscuses.
Deer Park
Located near the Lake Garden is an enclosed ?ha deer farm where deer, fawns and
does can be seen roaming in its habitat, surrounded by lush trees and ponds.

Kuala Lumpur Bird Park
As one of the largest bird parks in Asia, Kuala Lumpur Bird Park houses over
5,000birds from about 160 species found throughoutSouth-East Asia. The main
attractions here are therhinoceros hornbills, the hill mynah 'talking'
tiong,African macaws and flamingoes.
Butterfly Park
Only a stone's throw from the Bird Park is the colorful and beautifully
landscaped Butterfly Park where over 6,000 butterflies from 12,0 species roam
and fly freely in a simulated natural rainforest environment.
Kuala Lumpur Hop on - Hop Off City Tour
Hop On-Hop Off double-deck tour buses service 22 stops in Kuala Lumpur.
You can choose to stay on through the full circuit tour (the ticket is valid for
24 hours upon purchase) or hop on and off at the destination of your fancy. It
is a convenient way of seeing Kuala Lumpur. The rout covers over 100 major
hotels in Kuala Lumpur.
Tickets are at RM38 per person. Group purchases (min of 5) are priced at RM32
per person. Senior citizens, students and the disabled only pay RM17 while
children below five years old ride for free. Malaysian MYKad holders only pay
RM19 during promotions.
