Haleluyah Retreat Centre is situated near to the boundary of Kinabalu National Park.
A family-owned retreat centre located at the foot of Mount Kinabalu.Providing accommodation and facilities for group, family and personal retreats.

This holiday home is not very far from the Timpohok Hut, which is the starting point for the climbers.

About 260 degree of Haleluyah Retreat Centre is surrounded by green forest hills, and has Mt. Kinabalu as the back drop.

This place has been a retreat of the Christian. (Haleluyah Retreat Centre). Only a small 300 meter road, which turn in and up over a small hill from the main road, will lead you to this quiet and serene holiday home.  Along that highway are also few other Retreat Centre for Christians and Buddhists.

There are three chalets available for rental at RM 180 each.

Each chalet consists of a living room and two bedrooms. Room One can accommodate three persons, and Room Two can sleep two persons.

Pillows and warm blankets are provided.

Cooking stoves at the kitchen, and hot shower at the wash room are the other facilities available.

Fairly cold weather at night, about 17 degrees Celsius.

First floor is a big dormitory room with 66 beds.
These dormitory beds are the cheapest in Kundasang area, at RM 20 per bed per night.

The dormitory has a washroom with hot shower and kitchen.

Mee Zee restaurant canteen, beside the reception office offers simple food, like fried rice and fried noodle.

The main building houses the office and eating hall on the ground floor, while the upper floor are rooms for guests.

Bathrooms and toilets are on the ground floor. While the rooms are located on the upperfloor. The ground floor also houses an event hall.

The front part of the holiday home has a great view that looks out to the Kiau Valley, passing many rolling hills before reaching the horizon, which is the Southern Sea.

Eden Organic Harvest is an organic farm located within the compounds of Haleluyah.
The garden supply organically-grown vegetables and use organic fertilizers (chicken poop) and organic pesticide (dried tobacco leaves).

Getting to Haleluyah Retreat Centre

From Kota Kinabalu drive 90km towards Kinabalu Park Headquarters. Some 2 km before the entrance to Kinabalu Park Headquarters, and just about 200 meters after the junction to Bundu Tuhan Retreat Centre, look for the big Mount Kinabalu Holiday Home or Haleluyah Retreat Centre signboard and turn in.

Follow the narrow cement road that goes up a small hill and travel just another 300 meters then you have reached your destination.

For the backpackers, take a daily bus from Kota Kinabalu to Ranau for RM 15.00. the bus will pass by Mount Kinabalu Holiday Home (main road only). Tell the bus driver in advance to want to get down here. From the main road walk up hill for 10 minutes will arrive at this retreat center.
