Santavana Forest Hermitage

Santavana Forest Hermitage located in the rolling forested hills overlooking the coast line of western Sabah. This is the first monastery in Sabah established by a local-born monk his local devotees (notably Mr Ng and friends). Tuaran covers 1,194 sq.km in the west coast of Sabah.

It is bordered by Kota Kinabalu and Penampang districts to the south, Ranau and Tambunan districts to the east, Kota Belud to the north and the South China sea to the west.

There are three major roads linking Kota Kinabalu and Tuaran.
The new road from Kota Kinabalu is only half an hour drive to Tuaran town.
