There are 4 pairs of eyes. The first pair being the latgest pair while the 3rd pair is the smallest. |

The distinguish fiture of this Menemerus Spider is the pair of
black tuff of hair beside the 2nd pair of eyes. Spiders are seriously hairy. They have stiff bristles, fine whiskers, feeling hairs, listening hairs. . . each with their own function. This brown jumping spider shown here is distinguished by the dense covering of fine orange hairs on its mouthparts. |
