These roundabouts landmark icons are part of the Town Beautification Project of Tawau Municipal Council. The project works are subcontract to 2 different contractors to carry out.  The artists who construct these icons are Indonesian and Philippine artists.

Batu Jetty Roundabout is 100 meters toward South.  Batu Jetty is a passenger landing site of boats between Sepatik Island and Tawau. 

Visitors do not miss drop by for a look at the Largest Market in Malaysia (photo above). It may be an ordinary market, but Malaysian float here to buy the cheapest dried sea product in Malaysia. (Another alternative place to buy cheap dried sea foods is Semporna Market).
