Faculties
OUM has five faculties and a school offering various programmes.

The curriculum design is undertaken by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the respective fields and verified by the Senate, comprising members of the  professionals and academia from education industry.

Each programme is approved by the National Accreditation Board.

Support Centers
OUM established two centers and two institutes to support the delivery of academic programmes.

Learning Centers
Apart from its main campus situated at Jalan Tun Ismail, Kuala Lumpur,

OUM also established a network of 53 learning centers at major cities, from Peninsular Malaysia to Sabah and Sarawak.

Learning Centers are managed administrators and  fully equipped with tutorial rooms, computer laboratories, library and Internet facilities.

Faculty of Business and Management

OUM currently offers courses designed to cater to those seeking a career in management and to equip them with management acumen necessary for assuming managerial and senior positions in the business world. The curriculum is designed to produce graduates who are sensitive to the changing business environment and to respond confidently to issues confronting business organization.  Graduates of these courses are open to a wide range of business prospects in the fields of business and non-business management at a supervisory, administrative or first line management level.

Fees

The fees for the Diploma course is RM120* for one credit hour.   The total amount that a student needs to pay for a particular semester will depend on the number of credit hours taken during that semester.

 


 

Duration of Study

The Bachelor Degree takes 4 academic years (12 semesters) to
complete. The maximum period for completion is 8 academic
years (24 semesters) while the Diploma course takes 3½academic
years (10 semesters) to complete, the maximum period for
completion is 6 academic years (18 semesters).


 

Entry Requirements

The entry requirements for the Bachelor Degree:-
1 - Passed Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (Malaysia Certificate of Education) with credit in Bahasa Malaysia, AND
2 - Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (Higher School Certificate) with two (2) principles, OR
3 - Certificates of Matriculation from an IPTA, OR
4 - Diploma from an IPTA or IPTS, OR
5 - Teaching Certificate from Teachers Training College, OR
6 - Possess minimum 5 years work experience

The entry requirement for the Diploma course:-
1 - Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (Malaysian Certificate of Education) with credits in any three (3) subjects

3 - Study Loan

Application

Application is open throughout the year for all programmes. However, intakes are on a semester basis in January, May and September Application Procedures

1) Complete the OUM application form (Application form can be obtained from OUM website)

2) Enclose the following:

a- Processing fees of RM25 in the form of bank draft or postal order made payable to UNITEM Sdn. Bhd.
b- 2 sets of certified IC copies, all academic certificates and transcripts
c- 2 RM0.20 stamps each
